Welcome Back! Here are the latest Back To School announcements:
Schedules:
Note the new school hours this year, and corresponding new bus schedules. Kindergarteners will attend on the morning of the 12th, and then only on the scheduled assessment day/time with Ms. Rae, returning for a full normal schedule on the 19th.
Forms:
If you didn’t turn in your forms yet, please do so ASAP! Thanks! All forms are available on the Forms page, any time you need to update.
Fees Checklist:
To help families consolidate the fees or other payments due at the start of school, Katy created the Fees Checklist. Please mail it to the school with a check for the total or bring it with you on the first day and place in the wooden payments box just inside the office door.
This covers:
- Bus Fee $60/student
- Field Study Fee $25/student
- School Supplies $75/student (or bring in your purchased supplies)
- Class-T-shirt order (see separate order form below)
School Supplies:
Springwater offers the chance to pay one Supply Fee ($75) and avoid the shopping. Or you can choose to buy from the supply list and bring it to school during the first week. See the Supply Letter for more info, and the Supply List if desired.
Kindergarten Tuition:
Since Springwater is a public charter school, we do not charge tuition for most grades, except for the Kindergarten class, which is a full-day program. The amount is $3,000 per year, which may be paid in one lump or divided into 10 monthly payments of $300, for September through June. Financial aid and work study are available to families in need of assistance. Please place tuition payments in a marked envelope and place them in the payments box just inside the office door.
Class T-Shirts:
Each class group at Springwater has a unique T-Shirt design (color and logo), and we ask that parents purchase one shirt for their child to wear on Friday Field Study days. When 200 kids are spread out over many acres, it helps to be able to identify them by shirt color. In addition, classes may wear them for performances, field trips, or photos. If you have an older sibling or friend, feel free to pass them on! See the order form for details, and turn in on the first day. Payment may be made combined with other fees on the checklist above.
